Buildings that should never have been occupied.

The 2013 Rana Plaza collapse exposed what many already knew. Garment factories are often housed in structurally unsafe buildings. Workers had reported cracks in the walls the day before the collapse. They were ordered back in anyway.

Every day, workers breathe in what they shouldn't.

Garment workers are regularly exposed to dust particles, chemical fumes, and toxic substances. Long-term exposure leads to respiratory diseases, skin conditions, and other serious health complications.

The body pays the price.

Beyond chemical hazards, workers face physical strain from long shifts, repetitive movements, and poor ergonomic conditions, contributing to chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders.
